The “The Blush Bar” Contour Palette by Benefit

Hi, everyone, how are you ?

Here is a new post about contouring and about a brand I never mentioned on the blog before : Benefit. Benefit is born in America in 1976, founded by twin sisters Jean and Jane Ford. Their daughters/nieces Maggie and Annie joined them a bit later. The brand has met success very quickly, especially thanks to its products for eyebrows. It is even possible to have your eyebrows plucked in the different Benefit’s Brow Bars around the world. It makes me think that I should write you a post about brows… hum.

Here is the Blush Bar Palette, containing five full size blushes and one brush. The packaging is rectangular and very colorful, as all Benefit packagings, and there is a mirror inside for those who can use it. The blushes are divided into two rows. Here are the shades :

Upper row :
  • Galifornia, a golden pink
  • Golden Rush, golden nectar
  • Dandelion, a light pink

Bottom row :

  • Hoola, a darker and matte bronzer
  • Rockateur, a light-reflecting pink

I think this palette looks very nice and these blushes are made for every skin tones. The thing is … it costs 60€/58$/49,50£.  The official Benefit website exists in a lot of languages and delivers in a lot of countries. It is accessible with VoiceOver and there is a contrast changing button that can help for accessibility. If you want to find a shop in your country and need help, do not hesitate to ask and I can make the research for you, if you do not feel able to do it by yourself.

Do you know this brand ? Happy ? Disappointed ? Want to give it a try ?
