Tip : Take care of your skin !

Spring is here, summer is coming, and we can feel it ! We are happier, we want to rest and sunbath, we want to spend our time eating or reading or walking… Outside. But do you think about taking care of your skin when you are doing all this ? As you probably all know, beauty is not only about makeup. It is about loving you face and body, loving your nails, your teeth, your skin and taking care of them. Last time, I talked about nails. Today, let’s talk about skin.

  • Hydrating

You NEED to hydrate your skin. You need to take care of your body and your face every morning and every evening, especially if you are over 25. You can use a cream, a butter or an oil for your body.  As I am visually impaired, I prefer cream or butter because I find oil quite difficult to apply and I do not like the texture. It can also be a problem for your clothes if you use a sparkling oil. I currently use a cream by Rituals to hydrate my body. I have some of their products but it is not a partnership.

  • Protecting

Sun is burning your skin if you do not protect it. But it does not prevent you from getting tanned ! Chose a protection 10, 15, 30 or 50 depending of your skin type and make sure you apply your cream or oil every time you get out of water ! By the way, do not forget to protect your lips and your hair.

  • Removing makeup

You need to give your skin some fresh air after a long day out. Removing makeup also prevents your skin from getting old too soon. Whatever you use, just do it every night before going to bed.

  • Cleaning

Do not forget to clean your face everyday with some gel, water lotion or some oil. Try to exfoliate your skin once a week with a scrub or a brush. It really helps your skin  to feel and look better and it has relaxing effects on you.

  • Or…

You can also use creams and oils to massage your beloved’s skin or make him/her do it on you. You can use them to make your arms, your legs or belly look better, without cellulite or “orange peel”.

Whatever you choose to do, remember that it is a moment for YOU and that is nice to see results, feel better and smell good.
